About
Zoobean provides web-based services for families and libraries to facilitate the discovery of children's books and apps. It combines the perspective of experts with data science to make individualized recommendations or home deliveries based on each child's reading level and interests. Additionally, the company provides original educational content, including reading guides and "kits" on specific themes and topics. The company was co-founded by Jordan Lloyd Bookey, Google’s former Head of K-12 Education Outreach, and her husband, Felix Brandon Lloyd, former Washington, DC Teacher of the Year. Felix built and sold his last venture, Skill-Life, to BancVue, where it is now called MoneyIsland. Jordan is a graduate of the Wharton School and blogs for the Huffington Post.
