WishGenie is a registry platform that allows couples to shop for items beyond the big box stores or those with a large Internet presence. We allow couples to purchase local or destination activities (e.g. restaurants, sky diving, yoga classes etc.) and not just physical products. And while WishGenie allows couples to opt to receive cash instead of the gift they registered for, WishGenie is not like the typical cash-and-carry sites because we allow you to actually receive the gift you register for. The wedding market is changing and there is a gap to be exploited. Wish Genie can also grow to satisfy other life events, and eventually grow to become a larger shopping site for non-traditional items.
