Yapper allows users to create conversations and send them to everyone that is within a given radius of them (standard .5 miles). Everyone that is within that radius can then participate in that conversation. The entire conversation disappears from the mobile client once the conversation goes inactive for two hours ensuring that it is relevant to location and time. We are also integrating with StubHub, Eventbrite, and Meetup so that a chat room will populate at the location of every event that is listed on those websites creating a location based chat room for all attendees. All conversations taking place on the Yapper app can be viewed on our website. 'Listeners' can see what people at any event or location are saying in real time. Rather than following an individual, you can follow a location to see what is being said there at that very moment. Additionally, we are building an SDK that can be seamlessly integrated into event and conference apps as a networking tool.
