SocialRadar was founded on a singular vision: everyone connected. Today over 1.1 billion people have smartphone devices that can broadcast their locations. Over 2.8 billion people have social profiles online. In the future, the power of your smartphone’s location will inevitably be combined with your social network – allowing you to walk into a room and already be aware of the people around you and how you are connected to them. We are building that technology today. SocialRadar is the brainchild of Michael Chasen, the co-founder and former CEO of Blackboard. We’re developing applications in the mobile, social and location space for iPhone and Android as well as Google Glass technology. Our company is growing fast. When we are not working in our Washington, DC offices, we use SocialRadar (what else?) to make sure we’re connected.
