District Compost is a commercial food waste recycling service. We own trucks and bins, hire drivers, and collect food wastes from businesses. Our solution doesn't use composting facilities that pollute, get complaints, and get shut down by the state like our competitors do. And our process costs 1/7th of what our competitors pay to compost. DC City Counsel passed a law promoting food recycling. Former Mayor Bloomberg promoted food recycling. Seattle, San Francisco, and Massachusetts require it. The USGBC gives you LEED points for it.
